Bringing your children to the dentist will give their teeth the very best chance at lasting a long time throughout their life. Great dental techniques at home, coupled with regular visits, are the best combination for healthy young teeth.
We also offer preventative treatments for children such as fluoride varnishes and fissure sealants.

- Listen to any concerns that you may have regarding your oral health
- Consult on any changes in your general medical health
- Closely check the health of your teeth, looking for any damage and tooth wear
- Check any restorative work that you’ve had, such as fillings or crowns
- Monitor the gums for any signs of gum disease
- Carry out any x-rays that we feel are necessary to check on the supporting bone structures and also to check for any tooth decay
- Offer advice on brushing techniques and interdental cleaning habits
- Provide any tips on diet and lifestyle changes if we believe your oral health is being impacted negatively
- Discuss any recommendations and options with you including associated costs and arrange any additional treatment if needed

Although prevention is better than intervention, restorative treatment is sometimes required to remedy dental problems. At Guinea Court Dental Surgery, we have the complete range of modern dental treatments at our disposal, and we will discuss the various treatment options with you – be they cosmetic fillings, crowns, bridges or inlays.
Replace, restore and repair any teeth with dental restorations.
The type of restoration we would use depends on the level of damage. To repair teeth affected by cavities or light damage, we use composite fillings that rebuild teeth so they look as good as new. We offer porcelain crowns to restore teeth that need a more complete fix. Bridges can replace missing teeth, using crowns on either side of the gap to support the replacement tooth.
