Meet the Team

Martin Gooding, BDS Glasgow, 1982                                                       GDC Reg. 56778

Martin, together with his wife Janet, opened the practice in 1987. They have two grown-up children, Sarah and David.

Martin has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry, including orthodontics and implant restorations. His years of experience are important for the complex cases referred to him by colleagues. He enjoys keeping up to date with new technology and advanced treatments, and took a further orthodontic course at Bristol University.

Outside of work he is keen on sport, regularly playing tennis and golf, he also enjoys skiing and cycling.

Harvey Rook, BDS London, 1996

Harvey qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital in London, and started General Practice in Westerham, Kent. There he provided a comprehensive range of dental care under the NHS and privately.

In July 2000 Harvey joined Guinea Court and has established a reputation for providing quality, modern dentistry in a caring and sympathetic manner. He has a special interest in Dental Radiology. In April 2011 Harvey and his wife Michelle acquired the practice from Martin and Janet.

Married with four young children, Harvey has little time for relaxation.

Alison Weller, BDS Manchester 1999, MFDS London 2002

Alison joined the practice in 2003. She previously worked in general practice in Ash Vale and Aldershot. Alison also has extensive experience of working in a hospital setting, both at the Royal Surrey and North Hampshire Hospitals.

She enjoys all aspects of general dental practice, with particular interests in oral medicine, surgery and acupuncture & pain free dentistry.

Away from the practice, Alison is kept busy enjoying being a new mum. She still finds time for walks with her husband and their "crazy" dog Blue.

James Warnock, BDS Bristol 1998

Jamie joined the Guinea Court team in April 2010. He has worked in private practice since 1999 and his depth of experience is an asset to the practice.

Jamie's interests include Endodontics (root canal treatment), advanced restorative dentistry and the care of children and nervous patients.

He lives in Farnham with his wife and young son.

Ritu Patel, BDS Bristol 1993, DPDS

Before joining Guinea Court in 2008 Ritu worked in two other practices following vocational training. Her main interests in dentistry are orthodontics and oral surgery. She has held a Clinical Orthodontic Assistant post at The Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester.

Currently on the committee of the Reading BDA. She was chairperson 2006/7.

Outside of work, Ritu is married and has two energetic boys who take up most of her spare time. When she can Ritu likes going to the gym.

Sue Moate, EDH

Sue qualified as a dental hygienist at St Georges Hospital, Tooting. Prior to that, she worked as a Tutor Dental Nurse at the Royal London Hospital.

Sue has been a member of the team at Guinea Court since 2000. She is married with two grown up daughters. Her interests include keeping fit, walking, travelling and socialising with friends.

Lucy Flower, EDH

After five years of working and qualifying as a dental nurse, Lucy trained as a hygienist at King’s College. She qualified in 2005 with a distinction and clinical skills award, and joined the practice soon after.

Lucy enjoys and regularly attends CPD courses and the annual hygienist conference. Spare time is spent socialising with friends, going to the gym and enjoying the outdoors.

Michelle Rook

Michelle is responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
